David, There are a number of locations where the inlet protection and other erosion control measures is either in need of repair or is no longer needed. Please have your erosion control subcontractor check and service the BMPs that need to remain in place, and remove those that are no longer necessary. Specifically, the inlet protection on Commercial in front of IHOP is falling into the inlet and could be removed completely (the inlet may have to be cleaned out as well, since the rocks may have escaped the fencing). Also, the inlet protection on the driveway to the Humperdinks parking lot could be removed. With the establishment of the ground cover along the east portion of Asbury Lane just south of Belt Line, that inlet protection could be removed as well, at this time. Erosion control is an important component of our source water protection requirements, and continued vigilance in this area is needed as your development continues to expand. If you have any questions, please contact me, and I will be happy to meet with you on-site to review specifics, and avoid any violations. Thank you for your attention to these details. David E.
