My only question would be, “Was that change approved by the ADA/TAS review?” The last update I have a copy of is one dated 1/03/08, and that still shows the Type 7 ramps in place. Clay, do you have a more recent approved update for Plate 11? It seems to me that this would be the accessible pathway for residents of Everwood to get to the shopping center, since the ramps were eliminated on the north end of the alley because there is no sidewalk on the west end of Commercial. Also, the ramp alignment to the shopping center connector sidewalk is kind of skewed anyway. It would be really problematic if trying to get there from the south side of Asbury. I just do not want the Town to be responsible to upgrade the ADA facilities at some later date, if some TAS inspector decides there is not sufficient access for disabled traffic. I believe that final acceptance of the development will require documentation of a successful Certified ADA/TAS overall inspection. If that is the case, there may be other areas that may need to be revisited (i.e. ramp alignment), based on recent experience with that inspection process. David E. Here is a copy of the revised plan from Casey Ross. From what I can tell the ramps that were in question were deleted, unless I'm reading it wrong. Please let me know once you have looked at this so we can move forward.
