I am going to have to pass this up the line to several parties and want to make sure that I have the facts straight. Thanks for your help. However, it must be installed on tap specific for this purpose. Additionally, copper must be used from the tap to the meter and from the meter to the RPZ. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E. The fountain contractor will have licensed personnel install a RPZ device specifically for their fountain while we install a double check for the irrigation system. The double check will be installed at the water meter and the question has come up on whether the RPZ that has to be installed above grade can be installed behind the wall of this entry feature in lieu of installing directly off Marsh Ln. If the RPZ device can be installed behind the wall, a separate line from the water meter will be installed and we’ll need to know whether to install copper pipe or if PVC be used to the RPZ? Thanks.
