Casey: The only backflow test performed to date has been the DCVA on the trailer service. The meters for the new building have been installed, but the DCVA's have not been installed in the buildings yet, nor have the services been connected. There are no backflow devices on the large service lines to the proposed apartment buildings yet either. This will be an ongoing process as the buildings are built. Has there been further word on when the street lights will arrive and be installed? Have you heard anything about the re-work of the vehicular and pedestrian pavers from the punch-list last November? Have all the other punch-list items been addressed? Please let me know when you are ready for another inspection. Thank you. David E. This is what our inspector is saying we need in order to release retainage since Addison does not issue City Acceptance Letters. Do you have this information that you can forward over? -----Original Message----- From: Stephanie Clausing [mailto:stephaniec@aecc-inc.com] City of Addison Utilities: the only thing that they require is that backflow tests be performed on the water and fire lines. The Borrower should have a copy of inspection and be able to send quickly. As far as paving goes, I would ask the testing laboratory to issue a letter stating that they testing density and moisture content of subgrade, reinforcement placement, PSI and slump of concrete, etc. and that all testing met project specifications. Let me know if you have any questions.
