Nancy: Please see feedback from Matt on the rebar spacing issue. Burnie: Can you double check Wednesday morning before they pour? Thanks, Ron King, P.E. Ron Mathis will double check spacing and modify if needed. The F601’s located under the man-door will be left in place during the foundation pour. Rebar extending above the top of pier cap shall be cut off prior to pedestal start. This too has been discussed with Ron and design engineer. We also noticed that F601 was put in where the man-door opening is to go, but your shop drawing says not to put it there. It could be that the one that was put in the man-door location should have gone outside of it, and you would have had the correct 24” spacing between Piers 3 and 4. We expressed this concern to Ron Mathis, but did not get a clear indication from him as to what is going to be done. Please take a look into this and provide confirmation of the shop drawing intent, and what is needed to be done to correct the spacing issue. This definitely needs to be resolved before the pier cap is poured. Thanks, Ron King, P.E.
