What I’m used to on this is for the contractor to provide a copy of the material suppliers’ invoices, and also have the Town’s inspector to confirm that they are indeed on site and in
good shape.  Is this what you would like to see for Matt’s request below?

What would I need to provide you and the Town with in order to bill for materials stored on site?

 

Due to the long lead time of ductile iron pipe, my utility subcontractor wants to get DIP purchased and at least on site as soon as possible.  Installation is not scheduled until late
fall.
