John and I really need to see shop drawings on the wind energy items before approving. My understanding from you is that the wind turbine units themselves are the critical path item, ie that the data collection, support structures, etc don’t have as short of a fuse. If that is the case, I would suggest that we focus on the shop drawings for just the wind turbines, and have all the other stuff as separate shop drawings. There are a lot of coordination issues and questions on the other items we don’t want to hang up the wind turbine production on. On the wind turbine units shop drawing, please not only provide the standard drawings, but also the upgrades you plan to do. You had mentioned upgrading to 140 mph rating, but also better nuts and bolts that don’t rust like the ones on the Friendswood units. Thanks, Ron King, P.E.
