Nancy, I have reviewed the plat and plans for the Surveyor Elevated Storage Tank and have the following comments: Plat: 1. Label the Owner’s Certificate. 2. Remove the words “LEGAL DESCRIPTION” from the Owner’s Certificate. 3. The callout for the Abstract Number in the Owner’s Certificate appears to be incorrect. 4. Since we are renaming the plat, change the name of Lot 1R to Lot 1. 5. A summation of the areas for Lot 1R, Lot 2 and the Right-of-Way Dedication yield more area than that described in the Owner’s Certificate. 6. The conversion from square feet to acres for Lot 1R appears to be incorrect. 7. Remove the Lienholder’s Ratification of lat Dedication and associated notary block. 8. Remove the fire lane and access easement. 9. Remove the building lines. 10. Add a notary block for the Surveyor’s Certificate. 11. Designate the Mayor as the signatory for the Owner’s Certificate and replace the notary block in the Owner’s Certificate with a space for the Town Secretary’s signature. 12. Add the following sentence to the last line of the Owner’s Certificate before “WITNESS MY HAND…”: This plat is approved subject to all platting ordinances, rules, regulations and resolutions of the Town of Addison, Texas.” 13. Remove the Approved by Town of Addison block. 14. Remove the reference to zoning below the title block. 15. Revise all references to the “City of Addison” to read “Town of Addison” in the Owner’s Certificate. 16. Submit a closure sheet. Plans: 1. On the cover, add the Public Works Project # 2008-02. 2. On Sheet C-2, provide a construction entrance. 3. On Sheet C-3, a DCVA is required after the 1” meter. 4. On Sheet C-3, I recommend separating the 24” taps with a butterfly valve on the existing line so that in the future we can isolate one of the taps without having to place the water tower out of service. 5. On Sheet C-3, we need a detail for the fountain. I recommend that we utilize the same fountain that we are using on Vitruvian and have used in the other parks in town. It has been approved by Parks. I can provide a detail and specification if needed. There also needs to be a provision for draining it. A sump was added on Vitruvian and could be utilized here as well. Again, if the detail is needed just let me know. 6. On Sheets DT-05 & DT-08, I can provide the approved details for the items shown. If you have any questions, just let me know.
