We have determined that the 8” running east/west is deadend on both sides of the tee, making it not any more helpful to connect to the far side. Therefore, we will accept the contractor’s
recommended changes. The record drawings can be modified to reflect the changes.

Attached is a plan showing the existing water lines for this project. After talking with the engineering department, they have decided to approve my proposed new layout indicated. They
also just want us to extend the existing water service line to the east and utilize this for the new irrigation meter. They have asked that you revised drawing C3.01 to reflect these
changes.
