I think it can be rectified by re-examining the drainage areas and adding a restrictor plate to allow only the pre-developed runoff to discharge to Airborne. The drainage from Point D will need to be directed to the detention area and this is on the punchlist for completion prior to getting a full CO. Please see my explanation below: The drainage flow from Point A was supposed to flow across the driveway to Point B, but instead it flows toward Airborn Drive (Point C). As the site is currently graded, this would have no impact on the overall drainage from the site because the drainage at Point D, instead of being directed into the pond, is also flowing toward Airborn Drive. My thinking is that, at the very least, the drainage from Point D needs to be directed into the pond. Moving the drainage flow across the driveway, instead of into Airborn, would require some minor paving reconstruction. Please review and advise when you get an opportunity. Thanks. -- Glen G.
