Chris, I want you to call Mr. French and meet with him. I really know little about this and it is more appropriate for you to meet with him anyway. You do not have to meet on his terms. He is calling trying to meet with me on Monday. Please handle. Ron -----Original Message----- From: Richard French [mailto:rfrench@msfpartners.com] Sent: Thursday, October 08, 2009 7:30 PM To: Ron Whitehead Subject: Urgent Meeting Request Dear Mr. Whitehead, I spoke this afternoon with the principles of one of our clients, Plane Smart, who shared comments made by Clay Barnett at your meeting concerning their project. I cannot tell you how upset and disappointed we are that Mr. Barnett has leveled erroneous accusations and impugned the quality and workmanship of our company, its subcontractors and material suppliers. We are at a loss to understand why Mr. Barnett has taken such an adversarial position with our company. In all of our dealings with the Town of Addison, Airport Administration, Political Leadership and Public Works, we have acted in good faith and met or exceeded all of our commitments with regard to our $6 million Executive Hangars of Addison project. The quality of our workmanship and attention to detail has up to this point earned the highest praise. However, it is incumbent upon us to resolve this situation so as not to negatively affect our current and potential future client’s projects at Addison Airport going forward. By this letter, I am requesting a face to face meeting with you. In this meeting, we will present the facts that call into question Mr. Barnett’s statements and assessments relative to MSF Development, our general contractor, subcontractors and suppliers. We sincerely hope this meeting will facilitate a thoughtful and amicable discussion allowing us to continue work at Addison Airport absent the acrimony, misconception and apparent hostility emanating from the towns civil engineer. We are confident a statement of the facts and an unbiased review will fully vindicate our company. We suggest it most productive to limit the participants in our proposed meeting to you, me and our senior investor, O.R. (Butch) Smith. We are prepared to include experts that can corroborate the facts we present if you feel that may be of benefit. In anticipation of getting on your appointment calendar, I have included a cross section of recent communications between our company and Mr. Barnett. I would like to assure you once again that it is our goal to find a way to work with all officials in the Town of Addison with great professionalism and the highest integrity. Our work product should always reflect that goal, and I submit, respectfully, that the negative comments not-withstanding, it most certainly does. I look forward to the opportunity to visit with you. Please let me know when we may meet at your earliest convenience. Very truly yours, Richard French Richard French | MSF Partners®, Inc. | President | Two Legacy Town Center | 6900 N.
