Regarding ADA comment…to clarify, the two tree planters in question are not on the NE corner of the intersection, but are existing trees planters a couple hundred feet east of the intersection on the north side of Keller Springs Road. I remember talking about not disturbing the existing landscaping on the NE corner and not taking any ROW on this side. However, I don’t remember talking about these two trees. Two recommendations to gain ADA compliance around the trees that don’t require ROW would be add a tree grate or to relocate the trees outside the ROW. I would suggest add a tree grate. Is there any additional work (ie add standard, develop detail) to the plans other than a note? Make the tree grate subsidiary to various bid items.
