All, Is there a time on Friday or early next week that we could meet to discuss the handling of AN Collision’s proposed construction plan to prevent the flooding of their property? On Monday, Lea and John spoke briefly and wanted to make sure that everyone was on the same page going forward. Sincerely, Jason From: Hill, John Sent: Monday, January 03, 2011 12:32 PM To: 'Lea Dunn'; Nancy Cline; Clay Barnett Cc: Mathis, Jason; Alison Ream Subject: RE: Bankston Collision Center - Flood Study Update So that this one doesn’t slip away from me, wanted to follow up. Perhaps we could visit about it this afternoon or on Wednesday after the Staff meeting. Thanks. It was my understanding that the engineers were going to communicate this to the Bankston engineer and that whatever they subsequently submitted, we would forward to Bruce Grantham for his review and recommendation. I’m meeting with Nancy this morning and I’ll confirm. If this indeed is the case, it would seem that the ball is in Bankston’s court. I’ll verify. (TSDEI) is our civil engineer, and we hired Nave Engineering, Inc. (NEI) to perform the Hydraulic Study. · 9/1/2010 – Mathew Thomas (TSDEI) Shannon Nave (NEI) met with Clay Barnett for pre Flood Plain and Hydraulic Study. · 10/15/2010 – Flood Plain and Hydraulic Study completed and submitted to the Town of Addison. · 11/18/2010 – Town of Addison engineers (Nancy Cline) and Shannon Nave (NEI) conducted a conference call to go over the Flood Plain and Hydraulic Study. At the end of the conversation Nancy said that she felt that we would not impact the floodplain and the project should be okay, but that she had to go to her City Attorney. · 12/15/2010 – Mathew Thomas (TSDEI) followed up with the Town of Addison about the Flood Study, the Town Engineers are in general agreement with the report. However, they have deferred any decisions about future projects on the site to the Town Attorneys. We have not been able to move any further on the Town Attorney end. Please help to inquire the status, push this through the system. It appears the engineering end was satisfied, however, the political process needs to drawn a conclusion as well.
