John, On Item 1, I copied the comments from Halff Associates. It is their teams, as part of our storm water mapping, that determined that the pipes are ellipse as opposed to arch. I will change this paragraph to reflect this. On Item 2, the short answer is yes. However, it would not be the Town completing this construction. It would be TxDOT Aviation installing the EMAS at our request and they will not be interested in providing detention for the EMAS area. Also, we have allowed Bankston to anticipate that the storage already provided by the airport would remain in effect with this one exception. They agreed to shoulder the burden on this in the past. They may come back and decide to complain about this once they figure out the impacts. We could blame it on the FAA; there is no one to answer the phones there right now anyway and they are the cause of the need for the EMAS system. I can put TxDOT Aviation in there, but I am afraid that it may do more harm to than good. I think we probably just leave it alone and address it with them if they argue the point. Please let me know if you have any additional thoughts. Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E. In paragraph 4 of the comments to Appendix C, it’s stated that “[o]ur Storm Sewer inventory team has not verified the conduits in the airport at this time.” Is that something that the Town needs to do for the drainage plans to be completed? 2. The last paragraph (9) regarding the EMAS concerns me. Is this saying that the Town, with the increased impervious coverage resulting from the EMAS installation, is somehow altering (volume, rate, other?) the flow of water from the Airport property onto the AN Collision property?
