Carmen, Prior to the Methodist Hospital plat being dedicated to the Town of Addison, Sojourn Drive had sixty feet (60’) of right-of-way. An additional fifteen feet (15’) of right-of-way was dedicated with the Methodist Hospital plat. Obtaining 16’ of right-of-way on the south side would be sufficient to construct a 4 lane divided roadway complete with a left and right turn lane throughout. Although this would be recommended at the west end of Sojourn, this section would not be recommended at the east end of Sojourn due to the fact that it is right-in/right-out. Ideally, this section of Sojourn should be fully designed prior to development of the south side in order to avoid taking more right-of-way than needed. If you have any questions, please let me know.
