________________________________ Clay Barnett Town of Addison Dear Clay, There appears to be a little confusion and miscommunication about construction activity at the Plane Smart project. I hope this email can clarify the situation. I spoke with Mike Brosler last evening concerning a phone call you made to him Thursday afternoon. Mike said you were concerned that IAM Construction and its subcontractors were using either the EHOAA gate or the Airport gate to bring heavy equipment into the Plane Smart construction site. As you and I discussed on Wednesday we will not use the airport access gates to bring heavy construction equipment to the Plane Smart construction site. That has not changed: we have not and will not use those two access gates and will not be placing any heavy equipment on Romeo. You also voice some concern about Bear Creek Utilities accessing the airport through the automated gates. As of Friday morning, Bear Creek has not done any work on the site or staged any equipment. When they do, they will only be working on the parking lot side: not on the apron "inside the fence". The construction entrance was installed this morning as scheduled. Please be assured that all construction equipment accessing the airport side of the Plane Smart project will be using this entrance only. Also, attached are the concrete mix designs from Buck Construction. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please call me on my cell at (817) 253-4807. If we don't hear from you before, we will see you Tuesday afternoon, October 27th at 2:30 PM for the safety meeting. Best regards, Ritchie Dailey IAM Construction
