Mike Please find the attached correspondence regarding the apron. Also I have attached the elevation takeoffs Dave did yesterday, which serves as the basis for our letter. Although it may be hard to read, the lower the reading the higher the elevation. As a result the contour that is the full circle is basically the highest point measured. The slope then follows the other contours. The civil design clearly shows the slop is begin at existing grade and slope away from the hangar towards the downhill center of the larger apron area. With respect to the remainder of Ron Dailey’s email, we do not take exception to his comments. Our staff will, if not already completed, seal the hangar and add additional downspouts to the storm gutter drain. We need for IAM to address the inferior apron area. Hope this will be helpful.
