Ron has asked me to participate in whatever meeting occurs. My schedule is tight tomorrow but this needs to be a priority. I just received a call from Ron who had Mike Brosler (PlaneSmart Owner) in his office inquiring to the very same thing. Ron has asked that I facilitate a meeting with you, Clay, and Mr. Brosler to help him understand what the hold up is or why it is taking a while for him to obtain a permit for the Phase I of their project. Please let me know what your and Clays’ availability is tomorrow or Thursday and I will set up a meeting. Thanks!! I am un-clear why Mr. French states that he has not received a response since engineering plan review comments were returned to him on September 8th. The engineer for the project re-submitted on September 11th. Clay sent an e-mail on Sept. 18th (see at end of e-mail train) that there appeared to be some mis-communication regarding the previous plan comments because so many of the comments were not addressed. We thought perhaps the consultant was more concerned with turning the plans back to us than with addressing the comments. I answered Mr. French on the 18th because Clay was at the Special Event site helping with plywood and subsequently scheduled the meeting for Tuesday (Sept. 22nd) to resolve the mis-communication. Clay, Mark, Mr. French, his engineer and I met last Tuesday (Sept. 22nd) and afterwards, Clay went to look at a their response to a comment that needed to be resolved in the field. Clay has a letter prepared to send to him and I will check and see if it went out today. In general, any comments we have left are just reiterating the ones they have not previously addressed. We have no new comments. Please let me know if there is anything I need to do, Nancy -----Original Message----- From: Richard French [mailto:rfrench@msfpartners.com] Sent: Friday, September 18, 2009 11:02 AM To: Clay Barnett Cc: Nancy Cline; Mark Acevedo; Jenkinson, Joel; Dyer, Bill (E-mail); Ron Dailey; Ritchie Dean Dailey; Mike Brosler; Jim Dewey Jr. Subject: RE: Planesmart Comments Clay, Plane Smart is anxious to get their project under construction. Their current lease is expiring and they want their new facility ready to move into ASAP. We originally submitted the plans for the apron and parking lot for this facility under Victory Jet when Ray Kinney owned the building. Those plans were approved in December 2008. Subsequently, Mr. Kinney sold the building to Plane Smart. They requested a few minor changes to the civil plans, which we re-submitted on August 14th. We received your list of requested changes on Tuesday night, September 8th. JDJR Engineering made the requested changes and resubmitted the plans on September 11th. If there was some miscommunication on the comments, we would like to have them clarified today so we can adjust the plans as required to get approval to commence construction. Any further delays in the commencement of construction could cause harm to our client. Please let us know your availability for a conference call today so we can resolve the miscommunications.
