Greg, I have had several people complain that there are drivers not paying attention on Vitruvian Way and driving on the wrong side of the road. It has been clearly signed, but we have went crazy on the signage due to all the complaints. I am not sure at this point we can add any more signs. Additionally I have been told they are driving well above the posted speed limit. Is it possible to post some patrols down there in order to keep the speeds down and encourage people to obey traffic signs? It is a work zone, so traffic fines are double. Any assistance that could be offered would be greatly appreciated. Most of the complaints have been closer to Marsh where the road curves. Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E. Clay, I have personally moved the two 2-way traffic cones that I could find on site to the area between Park and Ponte in between the lanes of traffic. I have also put a call into Andrew and I am going to try to have him deliver about 20 or more to run the length of construction until we can complete the traffic switch. Please call me when you are out here and we can discuss if this sounds like an adequate plan. Thanks, Nick ________________________________ From: Clay Barnett To: Eric T. Mr. Barnett. Thank you for reading my email. I would like to make you aware of a hazardous situation that I have witnessed too many times. I am a new resident of The Savoye on Vitruvian Way. As I look out my balcony, I have witnessed many changes as the road work progresses. Cars are of too frequently traveling the wrong direction along this stretch of construction. The road will be eventually be a 4-laned divided road, but it is still under construction and when people turn on to it from, lets say Marsh, or they enter from the apts on the north, they are unaware that the lane they are in is a two way lane. I've seen too many cars treating it as the completed construction, when it is not. here don't seem to be enough signs or barriers warning people, especially at the intersection of Vitruvian Way and the main entrance to The Savoye. I'm hoping I do not see a "head-on" accident any time soon. I have already seen too many "close calls".
