Hi Dave, I hope you are having a good afternoon. We are still having some issues come up on this particular meter that maybe reflect a needed process change. On this meter the inspection form states it is an Irrigation type meter. However the meter card from Utilities shows it to be a Domestic service. Per the customer this will service a construction trailer. My thoughts on this: 1. For a construction trailer I believe this should be set up as a Domestic type water meter. We can work on possibly waiving the sewer charges if they have a septic system, but this is a Domestic connection. This should help the customer because they pay a premium charge for Irrigation water usage. 2. In regards to septic, I know I have worked with Clay on "exempting" a couple construction trailers from sewer charges since they are on septic. The preference from Finance however, is if there is a permanent connection being installed ideally they would also be connected to the sewer system. That will simplify billing records and reduce the number of septic tanks. I would appreciate any insight from Public Works or Utilities on this particular meter, and if in the future how we should handle these. Thanks for your help! Roller Subject: Meter for Contruction Trailer: 3958 Vitruvian Way Katie, The first attachment is the inspection form stating this is a 2" irrigation meter. The meter card from Public Works states that meter is a 2" domestic and was verified by Matt out in the field. Jennifer with North Texas Contracting to state that they would be tanking the sewage when she originally came up here. Can you please give me direction on how we should go forward with setting this meter up on account 386701?
