John, AT&T needs an easement from the Town of Addison in Vitruvian Park which was recently dedicated to the public. This easement will relocate some unsightly equipment from Brookhaven Club Drive to a more remote location, so it is advantageous for the town to grant to easement. However, I did want to give you the opportunity to review the easement documents and provide any comments you may have. Also, please let me know if we need to take this easement to council. The placement of the equipment is delaying phone service for the Phase 1 Building, so they are very eager to resolve the issue. Please review the easement document and forward any comments at your earliest convenience. Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E. This new construction will allow AT&T to remove the existing cross box that is in conflict with the proposed Park Road approach & ramps AND will provide the point of service for VP101 and this area of the development. This location has been coordinated with the other infrastructure (water, electric, landscape, etc) in this very congested, but somewhat hidden area. Attached is the exhibit (2 sheets) showing the area equipment layout. Since the Final Plat for Vitruvian Park, Lots 1 & 2, Block A has been filed, the Town of Addison is now the easement property owner and therefore would need to grant the telephone easement for the proposed equipment. Attached, in PDF format, are copies of a Final Plat exhibit showing the area of the easement, an exhibit showing the limits of the proposed AT&T surface & underground telephone easement tracts AND the proposed AT&T blank “Equipment Station Easement with Underground Lines” easement language for your review. We are preparing the legal description and exhibit to be attached to the easement language but would like the Town to begin the easement review process now. I have read the easement language and do not see any items that are not necessary for the proposed equipment. I will need the Town of Addison typical signatory for this easement. Please provide at your earliest convenience. Please let me know if you see any problems with the Town of Addison granting this easement. Telephone service to VP101, in a very tight time frame, is dependent on us providing an easement for the proposed equipment. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information. Joel A. Massey Project Manager icon Consulting Engineers, Inc. Bicentennial Financial Center 250 W.
