Eric, The bid price is $6000 each. They need two additional to complete the Phase 1B project. The $6000 each is “complete in place” including ordering, delivering, assembling, installing, wiring (with fuses & connectors), burn-in and warranty. If we order extra poles and fixtures to be stored, the price should be different (less) because we will still have to pay someone else in the future to pickup, deliver, assemble, install, wire (with fuses & connectors) and burn-in. The manufacturer’s warranty will most likely expire before they are installed. I recommend the future street lighting be handled with the new contract and bidding and alternate similar fixture & pole if necessary. There are going to be many more phases to Vitruvian Park where this issue will come up. Joel A. Massey Project Manager icon Consulting Engineers, Inc. Bicentennial Financial Center 250 W. NTC will not put a markup on this if you are still wanting to save money by ordering them under our contract through Durable. Let me know ASAP as I am not sure how long they will honor the price and shipping terms. Thanks, Andrew D. Rolph North Texas Contracting 4999 Keller Haslet Rd.
