Yes, we are eliminating the wall and moving the temporary sidewalk closer to the street.  This gives us enough room to provide a 3:1 slope and to save 14 existing trees along this side
of the road.  By the way, we added 621 SY of erosion control blanket for the slope but deleted the 14 trees that were called to be taken out.

Attached is Change Order # 6 for your review and approval.  This change order includes the following:

 

·                     Deletion of the Ponte Avenue improvements south of its current terminus point.  (this will eventually be rolled into the park contract)

·                     Addition of the Sub-surface drain line improvements along the north side of Vitruvian Way.

·                     Addition of the extension of sanitary sewer line to serve DISD.

·                     Deletion of the proposed retaining wall along the north side of Vitruvian Way from sta. 16+80 to sta. 23+84.

·                     Addition of Electrical Service Connection

·                     Addition of Potholing for existing Farmers Branch water line.

·                     Addition of added cost for crossing of Spring Valley Road with sewer line.

 

I understand the complexity of combining these tasks into one change order but I believe we have got everything that is involved.  If you think of something I have left out, please let
