Liza, We think we have answers for your questions. 1) In the colored plan, what do the planting beds represent? Raised planter boxes Are they elevated or flush? We believe they are elevated to different levels, as shown in the sketch. They are stepped like small terraces. IE, are you supposed to be able to walk between the walls, or are the beds elevated between them? You should not be able to walk between the walls. 2) Are the planting bed edges concrete or metal, or is this up to us? When you say bed edges, we are assuming you mean the walls of the planter boxes. We believe those would be concrete, faced with thin stone veneer. The stone would be the same as we are using in the park. Bruce Dunne can supply the details from his plan set that was supplied by Kevin Sloan Studios. 3) Is the coping on the walls stone or concrete (or up to us)? When you say coping on the walls, we assume you mean the top edge of each planter box. That would be a concrete cap to match the cap we are using in the park. Bruce Dunne can supply the details from his plan set that was supplied by Kevin Sloan Studios. 4) Do you want pedestrians to sit on the walls, or do you want to discourage this? No, they do not need to be wide enough for pedestrians to sit on. Also, we will plant them with shrubs, which would not allow for pedestrians to walk through them. 5) Has the tile finish inside the water feature been determined, or is this up to us? We believe Bruce Dunne will sub the pump and mechanical on this fountain to Greenscape to detail. We would go with whatever they recommend for the interior of the fountain. 6) There are two stone colors shown in the colored elevation. We’re not sure if this is a rendering technique or intended to be a difference in material. Please advise. It is a rendering technique. We are planning to use only one stone, the Chinese blue stone we are using in the park. Bruce Dunne can provide the specs for it. Carmen Moran Director of Development Services Town of Addison P.O. Can you forward those to us? Thanks so much. We’re working towards the 90% deadline on Friday, so if you could let us know the best way to get these answers as quickly as possible, that would be great. -- Liza Beaulier Rao, LEED AP Looney Ricks Kiss Architects, Inc. 175 Toyota Plaza, Suite 600 Memphis, TN 38103 T 901 521 1440 F 901 525 2760 www.lrk.com On 10/2/09 12:05 PM, "Carmen Moran" wrote: I don’t.
