Due to the constant plan changes and revisions during this project, JBI (our surveyors) are requesting a change order for their added work.  When we were furnished with the original
“approved for construction” plans, JBI started to calculate all of their survey points and with every change that ICON made, JBI would have to spend more time re-calculating what they
had already put together.  In some instances, changes came at the last minute and JBI would do everything they could to get us the updates incorporated and new stakes set in a timely
manner.  Some changes during a project are expected, but along the duration of this project, I think that we all would agree, there were an abnormal amount of plan changes and sheets
that were reissued and then reissued again.  

 

Please take a look at the attached Change Order Request and give me a call if you would like to discuss this.  I am also attaching JBI’s request to NTC for reference.
