Subject	6" water main needs to be raised to avoid conflict with the 6x5 RCB

Question	 There is an existing 8" water main running north-south at about station 23+90 on sheet 57 that is in conflict with our proposed 6x5 RCB (line SD-A1). The existing water main
is currently right underneath the existing 66" RCP line that just recently demolished.  	
Proposed Solution	 NTC proposed to raise the existing water main to avoid conflicting with the RCB installation. We are proposing to raise the line rather than lower it b/c it will soon
be abandoned and there is ample cover still above the box. As before, there is already an item for this additional work (item 154). Please advise if we are to proceed.
