SUBJECT: Asphalt Connector road (permanent)

QUESTION: The permanent asphalt connector road as shown on sheet 7 of the phasing plan and sheet 24 of the paving plan shows to have 6" of lime stabilized under 4" of flexible base.
With this being such a small area (298 SY), could we use flexible base in lou of lime stabilized if proctors and densities are taken? Please advise if this would be acceptable for this
particular asphalt connector road.

PROPOSED SOLUTION: NTC proposed to use flexible base in lou of lime stabilized for the asphalt connector road by the Garden Oak Apartments.
