Response to RFI No. 28 As of 19-Aug-2009 11:11 AM CT Vitruvian Infrastructure Phase 1B 4010 Marsh Lane Addison, Texas 75001 Project Number: 1308B Status: Outstanding Subject Water line loop and testing solution near Marsh Ln - Resubmit of RFI #27 Reason Code None Question Due to future testing and chlorination issues with water line W-A under phase 2 paving up to station 9+31, the line needs to be tied in to the 8" in order to keep the loop and two way feed going due to possible stagnation issues with the end of line at station 0+76. Proposed Solution I have attached a sketch of a possible solution which would create a temporary feed to the existing 8", thus allowing us to energize the new 12" line during phase 2. No History (Chronological Order) Type Response Billable n/a Memo We agree with the proposed NTC solution with one exception. The proposed temporary 8" connection needs to be as close to the Phase 2 sawcut line as possible so that the water line work in Phase 3 will be as far away from the new phase 2 pavement as possible.
