Response to RFI No. 42 As of 2-Apr-2010 10:46 AM CT Vitruvian Infrastructure Phase 1B 4010 Marsh Lane Addison, Texas 75001 Project Number: 1308B Status: Complete Subject Drainage outflow structure and pond area - Resubmit of RFI #41 Question NTC is greatly concerned about our drop structure and RCB becoming full of silt due the design of the pond area as proposed. This problem has arrisen by Wade and I viewing the current slope setup as unstable due to the lack of curlex or other slope control measures. NTC just recently had to clean all of this RCB in order to produce our TV inspection video as required, but remain very leary of the long term design. NTC is going to install curlex mat and a silt fence barrier around the drop inlet outflow structure in a good faith effort before the expected rainfall tomorrow. Please review the design and advise because we don't want to be responsible for cleaning this line out again if all other suitable BMP's on the streets are in working order. Proposed Solution NTC recommends stabilizing the slope with curlex mat and consideration of possibly adding some rock gabion baskets to permanently secure the slope.
