Response to RFI No. 9 As of 16-Jun-2009 3:16 PM CT Vitruvian Infrastructure Phase 1B 4010 Marsh Lane Addison, Texas 75001 Project Number: 1308B Status: Outstanding Subject UGE manhole at Vitruvian and Park conflict w/ existing water line Reason Code None Question (Sheet 75) There is an existing 6" water line feeding a fire hydrant on the north side of Vitruvian that is in conflict with our proposed UGE 4-way manhole (station 9+74.54). The existing line is running dead center through the proposed manhole. Proposed Solution NTC proposes to install the entire water line W-A3 to replace the fire hydrant service needed by Andres' construction site and trailers. This will ultimately allow us to take the existing line and hydrant out of service and out of conflict. Please note this adjustment to the phasing will add a small amount of temporary asphalt and saw cutting. Please advise as this is a critical path item to complete the duct bank installation. Another possible solution is to relocate the UGE manhole, but NTC believes this action would take entirely too long to get Oncor's approval. Attached Files (none) Section: 2 - Sitework Int.
