See below for suggestions from KSS for examples to look at. ________________________________ From: Diane Sloan [mailto:mds@kevinsloanstudio.com] Sent: Monday, August 24, 2009 4:09 PM To: Bruce Dunne Subject: Suggestions for Addison tour Bruce, there are marvelous buildings in Downtown Dallas that Kevin and I would recommend to the Addison tour group, beginning, of course, with the Old Red Courthouse. The rustic stonework is gorgeous. If they would come downtown and drive up and down Main St., Commerce, and Elm, they would see some really stunning examples of stonework, such as the old Walgreens building at Ervay and Main, and the old Titches building, which is now condominium lofts. I believe they should look at anything granite. Limestone, while lovely, doesn't do well in a floodplain, as I think you will agree. Looks very bad after a few short years.
