Moving the screening wall over 5’ would create dead space between the fence and the screening wall. I think we need to meet with the townhome owners again. Clay Barnett, P.E. We have a couple things to go over. 1. The screen wall is 10’ on the townhome side. 2. He does not employ any 10’ workers. 3. He cannot set a ladder against the wall to tool the joints. 4. He has to use scaffold. We have a couple options here: 1. Do not tool the joints on the townhome side. 2. Get with the residents and demo the entire fence. 3. Get with the residents and take the fence down a couple panels at a time and set up the scaffold in their parking lot. 4. Move the fence over about five feet and not mess with the townhome folks. I vote for #4 as shown below: Eric Little Project Manager, UDR 5430 LBJ Freeway, Suite 1250 Dallas, TX 75240 Ph: 972.774.0552 Fx: 972.991.4113 Cell: 214.641.5761 www.UDR.com
