Bruce, Could you respond to Mike and copy me? Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E. Sh. SP304 – I cannot find a detail for the masonry fence without a retaining wall. (Bid Item 266) 2. Sheet SP402 shows how to interpret the pier legend flags. If I use this information to read the flags on sheets SP206 & 207, it tells me that all of the shafts on the screening wall/fence are 18” diameter with a 20 ft penetration into bearing strata. a. 18” diameter conflicts with sheet SP304/01, which calls for a 12” diameter pier. Which one do you want? b. Does there really need to be 20 feet penetration for a fence? Is this supposed to indicate total pier depth of 20 feet? c. In some places the notation indicates that the top of pier elevation is as much as 4 feet below the bottom of the wall. Please clarify. Thanks. Mike Fowler Rebcon, Inc. 1868 W. Northwest Hwy.
