Clay, attached for review is dedication language that the City of Dallas uses (this form can be found on Dallas’s website at http://www.dallascityhall.com/html/FormsDept.html#Subdiv and under the heading “Dedication – Corporate.” There are a number of other forms on that website, including a form for dedication by a private owner. The only change that I have made to Dallas’ form is to add the words “parks, open space” in the fifth line of the first paragraph. I have not yet heard back from the gentleman that I spoke with in the Dallas City Attorney’s office a couple of days ago.
