I think it is always a negative surprise to get a change order that you are not expecting.

I think an RFI should have been posted for the proposed vertical alignment and related additional costs.

They need to understand that anything that costs more must be approved before it is constructed.

 

Let’s ask for a marked up as-built plan of the crossing so we can look at what was installed.

Please see attached pricing for the flow fill material required at the casing, the additional casing required to span the existing creek bottom as well as the additional fittings required
to install the 10” water line to the minimum bury depth.  Please note that the 10” bends that were added include 4 EA – 45 degree bends and 1 EA – 22.5 degree bend.  I have include mark
up and the install cost already in the flowable fill item.  I have also attached the delivery tickets for the material for back up purposes.  Please review and let me know if there are
any questions.
