Eric,
The increase in the prices of the drilled shafts in CO #1 was due to the removal of the majority of the lake edge wall. If we are adding a significant amount of lake edge wall back,
perhaps we need to decrease the revised price of the drilled shafts.

CO #1 was done previous to my involvement – from reading it, I gathered that we deleted the cast in place walls and replaced them with soil nail walls. I don’t see where a bonus was
included.
Again, I’m NOT saying this wasn’t the case, just saying I don’t know what you are talking about.

Jennifer forwarded this to me yesterday. We need to add casing to this please.
Also, I spoke to Zack this morning and his sub is saying that the cost per foot in the bid was for 90% more quantity and they are asking for about a 25% increase in the per lf price
on the wall. I told Zack that I understand that shrinking the quantity could result in a higher lf price because of a loss of labor efficiency, but I could not see how that could result
in a 25% increase. He is pushing back now.
