Thanks Dave. From: David Wilde [mailto:dwilde@addisontx.gov] Sent: Friday, May 27, 2011 8:56 AM To: Eric T. Little; Clay Barnett Cc: 'Jamie Voris'; Josh Hodsdon Subject: RE: Savoye (Ponte Avenue bed) I turned the valve back on yesterday around 2:00, and told the Addison Parks Department Irrigator that it was back on. The valve at the east end of the existing 10” is off until the extension is pressure tested and chlorinated. The relocated hydrant line (valve at the T is closed) will also require chlorination and pressure testing separately from the 10 inch. The hydrant line to the north in the Savoye2 courtyard also needs chlorination. Each section will need to pass BacT sampling. David E. I think we figured out that the water can be turned back on at the valve in the street. Someone please let me know if I misunderstood. This Ponte city operated bed also shares irrigation with the eastern portion of the Fitness center bed (the western portion of the Fitness center bed is tied into the seasonal color/Vinca ‘major’ bed on the Savoye irrigation system). Fortunately we have had some needed rain in the last week, but will need to have this repaired soon. I spoke with the irrigation tech (Jim) on site yesterday and he said it had to do with a broken main somewhere and not a City of Addison problem, but maybe related to the park construction. Let me know if you have any suggestions on whom to call – Mark. ************************************************************ This e-mail and any files or attachments transmitted with it contain Information that is confidential and privileged.
