I got this notice from Lynda with the Dallas Morning News.  All other things being equal, it’d be a lot cheaper to issue the TCEQ notice through us rather than through KBA.  However,
I wanted to check with you to see if you all had an arrangement with KBA which would mitigate the cost difference:

 

If we advertise it, it’d be about $1,500.  If KBA advertises it, it’d be $4,000 to $6,000, and I’d assume they’d be passing the cost back onto us.

 

There may be some kind of deal here that I don’t know about; I just thought I’d make this option available to you all in case there isn’t.

Good afternoon Matt.

Public Works is wanting to place an ad through KBA EnviroScience, Ltd for a TCEQ Notice of An Amendment to a Water Use Permit. These ads are typically in the $4,000-$6,000 dollar range
if not on contract with the DMN. Since the Town of Addison is on contract, I would like to have permission to place the ad on the Town’s account. Estimated cost of this notice with the
contract will be $1500; without $6700. 

All I need is the contact person on this project to either give me a call with approval or an email. Either is ok. I called my contact at KBA and she said the contacts are Clay Barnett
or Nancy Cline.
