I think galvanized is fine except they do not have the nice looking grates in galvanized.  I do not think the perforated grates are nice looking.

 

We had $40,356 worth of other drainage, I say ask NTC to do it for $1562 less and go with the specified stainless steel products, quoted at $41,918.

Here is a submittal on a ADA rated galvanized trench drain that has the same dimensions and characteristics as the stainless steel type that is specified.  Please note that the attached
type represents a 9K savings from the previously submitted price.  Please review and let me know if acceptable and I will revise the price and formally re-submit.
