Bruce, Here is the price for the same grate, galvanized per Robin’s request. The only days I will agree to are the two on the walls at Ponte. Nothing else. You can also add the grotto trellis steel changes in tentatively per the attached (no days will be approved however). Little Sent: Monday, January 31, 2011 2:33 PM To: 'Bruce Dunne'; Clay Barnett; Robyn Jacobson; Tom Lamberth Cc: Nick Jacob Subject: RE: Trench Drain All, Zach stated that the trench drain pricing was all inclusive. He also stated that he isn’t carrying any fluff in this so he would not be able to reduce down to wash the cost to keep the stainless. That being said, I personally would rather have a galvanized grate and save the $9k to help off-set some of these other overages. Everything thing up there will be galvanized already and I really don’t think anyone will really notice one way or the other. Thanks, Eric From: Bruce Dunne [mailto:bdunne@icon-engineers.com] Sent: Monday, January 31, 2011 2:12 PM To: Eric T. Little; Clay Barnett; Robyn Jacobson Subject: RE: Trench Drain Eric – the change order pricing that I needed from NTC included three line items: 1. Klassic Trench Drain w/ Grate 2. Klassic In-Line Catch Basin 3. Connect Catch Basin to Storm Drain The pricing we got back from Zach appears to be a lump sum price. Please confirm that his pricing is all inclusive for these three items. The deductions for the previous grotto drainage design totals $40,356. NTC’s price for the stainless steel substitution is $41,918, an increase of $1,562 (assuming his price is all inclusive). A $9,000 decrease by going with galvanized steel doesn’t seem to be worth the large appearance difference between the stainless and the galvanized. Might be worth asking Zach if he can decrease his price for stainless by $1,562 and then the whole system would be a wash. From: Eric T.
