I’ll follow up with NTC and get you guys some answers. From: Joel Massey [mailto:jmassey@icon-engineers.com] Sent: Friday, March 25, 2011 8:17 AM To: Eric T. Little Cc: Clay Barnett; Bruce Dunne Subject: RE: VP Irrigation Bores Change Order Eric, The irrigation creek crossings shown on this pricing information do not seem to follow the intent. The following is the intent: 1. North Crossing – 1-6” continuous HDPE sleeve by directional drill. Limits are shown on C801 dated 1/19/11, 140 LF. Install 1-4” continuous HDPE irrigation main in the 6” sleeve and fuse end fittings for connection. 2. Center Crossing – 1-6” continuous HDPE sleeve by directional drill. Limits are shown on C802 dated 1/19/11, 130 LF. This sleeve is for wiring only. 3. South Crossing - – 1-6” continuous HDPE sleeve by directional drill. Limits are shown on C803 dated 1/19/11, 160 LF. Install 1-4” continuous HDPE irrigation main in the 6” sleeve and fuse end fittings for connection. Here is what I believe the change order items should be: 112 Furnish & Install Irrigation Conduits 1-6” & 1-2” (430) LF $13 $(5,590.00) 166 Furnish & Install Concrete Encasement for Conduits (430) LF $12 $(5,160.00) 230 Furnish & Install 4” Irrigation Main (300) LF $2.65 $(795.00) New 1-6” HDPE by Directional Drill (430) LF $ $ New 1-4” HDPE Irrigation Main installed in 6” HDPE (300) LF $ $ New 4” Fused End Fittings for Connection (4) EA $ $ Items 112 and 166 were adjusted in CO5 for the revised creek crossing drawings issued on 1/19/11. There are no 2” carrier pipes & 2” fused fittings. A 4” & 2” will not fit in a 6” pipe so were 2-6” sleeves included in the pricing? Only one 6” is required at each crossing. Hydrostatic testing should be required no matter whether the irrigation main is in a bored sleeve or not and should not be any additional cost. We need revised pricing for the three “New” items listed above. There was one other item listed on the change order pricing that I was not sure of. The 206 LF of 8” & 2” Irrigation Conduits was added in CO5 for what I thought was a sleeve upsize to accommodate the 4” irrigation main in the park not the creek crossings. Is that correct? Please let me know if you have any questions of need any additional information. Joel From: Joel Massey Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2011 3:23 PM To: 'Eric T.
