Little'; Tom Lamberth; Clay Barnett; Bruce Dunne; Jennifer Haynes Subject: VP Street Fountain Equipment Everyone, As most of you are aware, over the last week or so we have addressed the visual impact of the proposed Vitruvian Park street fountain equipment to insure that all parties would have the opportunity to understand what the proposed equipment was going to look like. This was very important as this same equipment will be required at the other three corners of the Vitruvian Way and Ponte Avenue intersection. The equipment that is selected and approved for this first fountain will become the standard for the other three. It was decided yesterday to proceed with the first street fountain and equipment with the following specific requirements: 1. The street fountain equipment vault cover will be an aluminum BILCO type with concrete foundation band. The installation will be at the minimum height above the surrounding landscape area finish grade. Construction submittals for the vault access cover, and installation are required. 2. The backflow device requirements (currently a RPZ) are being verified with the Town of Addison. The goal is to use the lowest profile acceptable device. 3. The backflow device enclosure will also be the minimum size acceptable and will be light gray or silver in color. Construction submittals for the backflow device, enclosure and installation are required. 4. The equipment vault vent caps will be aluminum or stainless steel and be the minimum height above the surrounding landscape area finish grade. Construction submittals for the equipment vault vent caps. Thank you to everyone for your work in getting the Vitruvian Park street fountain equipment addressed. Joel A.
