Could you forward the revised proposal without the additional funds for the fountain redesign by the end of the day today and I will place the proposal on the July 12 council meeting agenda? I know this is a big issue with Tom since the existing fountain doesn’t perform properly. I’m sure KSS is going to bill their time to this project as well for this re-design so can I bump up their remaining fee in the Change in Scope and Fee (currently at $25,000 to say $30,000) or how should we handle this? There are some concerns about power requirements. We are not finished with our drawings, so this is a progress set only. We are meeting with Viewtech tomorrow to review the connection details and we are in the process of making the new fountain 2 rows of tubes instead of 3 as shown on the attached progress set. The LED light will not project through the water very well and needs to be as close as possible to the surface to get the most bang for the buck. The donut hole light is 13.0 watts (no real equivalent chart – but guessing illumination about that of a 50 watt incandescent, currently have 250 watt) Cut sheet shows 1 3/8” below water surface. We did not discuss it at the meeting, but we’ll need to be careful with the nozzle selection on the existing fountain so that we don’t overcapacity the pump. The RBN – 075 nozzle is the flow rate the pump was sized for – 3hp, 150gpm, 40TDH The RNA -100 nozzle is the “preferred” mockup, as I understand it, which should work fine at 8 ft. I think we need to discuss what the purpose of the metal cap is on the proposed larger version, before I can comment on it. I have attached the drawings with my notes and cut sheets on the nozzles, LED light Thanks, "Our People are what makes us Great" Jayson Bush Pre-Construction Services GPSI aesthetic water technology 1425 Whitlock Lane, Suite 108 Carrollton, Texas 75006 Ph: 972-446-0037 Fax: 972-446-0313 Mbl: 972-670-2843 www.greenscapepump.com P Please consider your environmental responsibility before printing this e-mail.
