Eric,

 

I spoke with Lea about it and she was going to send an email to Department heads explaining that we do not mind visitors at the site as long as they arrange the visits with either you
or me and they have the proper equipment.  I believe this will resolve the matter.  If you have any future problems, please let me know.

Clay,

 

We keep getting visitors out here on site from the Town. I’m not sure who they are or what they are doing, but a couple things need to change:

 

1.       They need to check in with me so I know who’s out here, what they are doing and where they are at. Otherwise, I can’t keep them from doing something stupid.

2.       They either need to bring their own PPE and wear it or if I know they are coming and they check in with me, I can get them what they need to wear to keep them safe.

 

As you know, this is a construction site still. It’s not a playground or a tourist destination yet. It can be a very dangerous for people unaccustomed to being around heavy equipment
and even more dangerous if they aren’t even wearing the minimum OSHA required PPE.

 

I’m not sure what we can do about this. But I kind of spoke pretty sternly to a group of them today and told them that they could not be out here without proper attire.
