I need both VIII and Robyn to attend if possible. 1. Steps Under Ponte – The structural drawings do not match the landscape plans. SP303 shows the steps to be 2-7X1-0 and the L4-34 shows them at 3-0X1-0. The concrete was poured per SP303, but the stone was ordered per L4-34. We need to discuss a new pattern for the stone here that works with the SP303 drawings. Ok, we will review. THANKS. 2. Wildlife Observation Decking – L5-01 indicates that the decking pattern is not to be installed in line with the steel framing below. To be honest, I am unsure of what the pattern for the decking is supposed to be. I believe that it would be better if it lined up with the steel framing that it sets on. We need to review and discuss. It is our understanding that the decking should be perpendicular to the major framing members. This is what is show in the attachment. I WASN’T VERY CLEAR HERE BECAUSE I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING AT AN OLD DRAWING. WE BELIEVE THE DECKING NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED PARALLEL WITH THE MAIN JOISTS SO THAT IT IS SUPPORTED BY BOTH THE MAIN JOISTS AND THE PURLINS. THIS IS SOMETHING EASIER TO TALK ABOUT IN PERSON. 3. The railing mock up welding has been redone and needs to be reviewed tomorrow for approval. Ok. 4. RFI 64 – We need an answer on this ASAP. Should have this answered by the end of the day. THANKS. 5. We started drilling the piers for the switch back ramp on the north bank on Ponte and it appears that some of the piers are right in the middle of the duct bank feeding Savoye 2 (see SP315 attached). 6. Olden has stated that the soil on the north bank at Ponte is unsuitable for soil nail walls. We dug a test pit and Kleinfelder has observed and indicated that they agree. We are waiting on the report for this now. That being said, we might need to change this section of wall to cast-in-place, either matching the walls under the bridge (spread footer) or the walls south of the bridge (pier supported). See SP204 attached. Thanks, Eric
