Tammy, Questions 1 & 3 indicate that there is some confusion about the structure of the bid. The bid is all inclusive. We cannot accept bids for a portion of the work. If you intend to bid only a portion of the work, you will need to submit your prices to a general contactor and work with them. In regards to Question 2, the bid item specifies that the contractor is responsible for procuring a meter in accordance with the Town of Addison specifications. The only meter that meets the specifications for irrigation meters is the Hersey MVR Vertical Turbine meter. I know that Furgeson can provide a cost for this meter and there may be others that I am not aware of. If you have any additional questions, please let me know. Thanks, Clay Barnett, P.E. First, can you tell me if our unit prices equals our total bid. Second, Can you tell me the cost of a 1 1/2" Meter? I've called the city but haven't got a response. And lastly, is the irrigator responsibile for the 2" Water Service Taps? Thank You Tammy Cook AND, Inc. A "New Deal" Irrigation Company P O Box 1089 Wylie, TX 75098 Off: 972-442-4077 Fax: 972-442-5527
