The new price provided for the OOOO copper electric conductor is too high.  In lieu of adding this new item, we have included bid item 131, F & I Electric Service to Panel GA, and added
an additional 169 LF at $25.00/LF.

 

We are adding the latest additional items that you provided and will send you the CO #6 very soon.

Gauntt tells me that the price of copper is up significantly since the project was bid in 2008. That’s why the new wire price is higher.

I will get you the information for the Ponte paving removal.  It looks like we will have to add some concrete pavement also because the original quantity was based on the old bridge
design which was longer.  The new bridge is shorter and additional concrete pavement will be required.

 

The price shown for the OOOO Electric Conductor is over 3 times the cost of the LARGER 250 MCM conductor.

Here is my final run through on CO #6 and all the associated back-up. 

 

Three notes here:

 

1.       ICON needs to add in the credit for the deleted paving south of Ponte.

2.       The Bilco Hatch issue seems like it’s going away.

3.       The granite bollards pricing might need to go away if we just go back to the original design.
