Hello Clay,
Currently we are working under a Kleinfelder MSA as modified by the Town of Addison. Can we tag this project to this existing MSA or do you want to use the Town of Addison contract
for the water well?

Subject: Water Well Proposal
Emad,
I have reviewed the water well proposal and have a few comments:
1. The 4 gallons per minute will need to be verified when the water rights permit is finalized. Dallas has requested that we use the 75% percentile in calculating the amount of
evaporation. Please check the 4gpm based upon this information.
2. We are unsure what the prefabricated tank looks like and are concerned about how it may look in our new development. Could we include some options in the proposal that may
mitigate this issue?
3. Tasks 3 & 4 really need to be not-to-exceed as opposed to fixed fee. Although the entire contract exceeds that which the town is ordinarily higher than accustomed to, changing
these items to not-to-exceed will allow us the flexibility to manage the cost of the project while at the same time maintaining the ability to call upon Kleinfelder when needed. Please
make this change.
4. The attached contract would need to be used in lieu of the “Client Master Services Agreement.” I have attached our standard agreement for your use.
I am going to attempt to get this item to the council agenda for next week, however I do need a quick response. Please revise and resend the agreement along with any questions or concerns
as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
Clay Barnett, P.E.
