The smaller rigs are about 45 feet in length and the larger one are 65 feet in length. These rigs do exceed H20 loading. The drill pipe is delivered on a tractor trailer flatbed. There is a reserve pit for water and a frac tank. This driller has a frac tank mounted to a trailer and must be accessible to a vacuum truck to pump out the tank when it gets full. They really do need to have everything in the same area. Ideally they would have a 150 square foot area with the well location in the middle and it’s a messy operation. A typical drilling operation needs to accommodate six tractor trailer trucks on site.
