Eric I found out that American was instructed to water the trees on Friday afternoon only by Jennifer, so I believe American is doing what they have been instructed to do.  It is not
in American’s contract to keep these trees watered 24/7, nor was the brush clearing and mulching, so American has been doing this without being paid by NT.  Maybe we need to speak with
Jennifer about how this get’s addressed next week.  If we need to pay extra, then so be it to make sure they are getting enough water.

Eric the live oaks at the wildlife observation area are under a tremendous amount of stress with dust coated leaves coupled with feeder root removal and construction compaction.  The
trees are very dry right now, so can you see that the they thoroughly soak the mulched areas from the drip line to the trunk before the weekend and on an ongoing basis as needed? 

 

It is critical that NT/American pay very close attention to these trees, especially now since they are at the peak of their stress level.
